Seeing as there's THOUSANDS of little patches that each do a specific tile, character, song, etc it's going to add up. You're not just firing up a single-game emulator here, a lot of it has been enhanced and graphics, movies and audio contain a lot of data, taking up a lot of space, basically patched over the original rom stuff. A bit of the 'bloat' is from the game-engine support libraries too. ![]() Cut scenes, improved music score (it's much clearer, and does not use the old SPC700 samples, it uses digital ogg-style audio, in Unreal specific engine format), updates to some graphics.
